Time to Hoppip back on the Pokemon GO Hypetrain

July of 2016 was a wonderful time, Pokemon GO had released, and people were living out their childhood dreams of being the very best, everyone was playing, even 60 year old grandfathers. But the hype quickly died off, due in large part to various glitches and server crashes. Eventually this was all hammered out, although it was to late for some trainers, who had given up on the game, but now it’s time for the excitement to return, with the addition of 80 new Pokemon.

Developers announced via Twitter “our world is expanding!” and linked players to Niantic’s official Pokemon Go website. Trainers will have over 80 new Pokemon to try to catch in the real world, as well as various game additions and improvements. This includes the addition of “evolution items” possibly referring to evolution stones (Fire Stone, Moon Stone, ect….) and two new berry items at Pokestops. Players will have access to the Nanab berry which makes Pokemon slower and easier to catch, and the Pinap berry, which will double the amount of candies you get if you catch the Pokemon. Finally, those trainers that enjoy showing off their avatars as much as their Pokemon will have more options as far as clothing, with a whole new selection shirts, pants, and hats, so you can really stand out when you take over the local Team Valor gym.
