Bastion mains rejoice!

The development team over at Overwatch HQ are hard at work as always, doing their best to help balance out the game and make changes to encourage players to work with different heroes across game modes, while Jeff Kaplan works hard to keep us up to date with the latest game developments. Sometimes these changes are quite welcome, but in the latest PTR (Public Test Region), the defense character Bastion has received some nerfs, which many players think might be “slightly” overpowered….

With the latest changes, Reddit user /u/Squidblimp took it upon himself to test out some of Bastions new potential, and was not happy with what he found. One of Bastions new tricks is that his healing ability will continue while taking damage, as opposed to being interrupted in the current game. Thanks to this ability to be constantly healing, a good Bastion player becomes virtually invincible in any 1v1 scenarios. This includes fighting again Tornjorns turret, surviving Reapers full Death Blossom ultimate attack, and even completely negated Symettra’s damage output. While Bastion will not be able to counter attack while healing, this kind of ability would make it impossible to take an objective that Bastion is holed up on without team support, and we all know how hard it is to work as a team while playing Overwatch….

What do you think about the Bastion buff gamers? Will this make the robotic hero unbreakable? Or are people overreacting? Let us know in the comments below, or on Facebook!
