The Andromeda Initiative is less than three months away
A few months ago in October, we revealed an amazon listing for an official Mass Effect Artwork book which hinted at a March release date. Today that March 21 release date has been verified by a post on the official Mass Effect website.
“On behalf of our teams across Montreal, Edmonton and Austin, I’m excited to announce that Mass EffectTM: Andromeda will be launching in North America on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 and beginning Thursday, March 23, 2017 in Europe.”
Bioware general manager Aaryn Flynn posted on the website today to reveal that the team has been hard at work on Andromeda even going so far as to work over the holiday season on full builds of the game. Some major changes that are coming to the game are the jump to the Frostbite engine, made popular by the Battlefield series. Gamers can expect to explore new worlds as well as encountering new species of animals in the vast expanses of the galaxy. With less that three months to go the hype is sure to grow for the long awaited release of the next adventure in the Mass Effect Universe.
