Build-a-Bear is a genius idea, and we all hate to admit it, because we didn’t think of it first, but it really is great. Every child loves stuffed animals, and when you can combine that with a bit of imagination, as well as any kind of accessory or outfit you could possibly want, it becomes a battle of deciding which ones you want and trying to convince mom and dad that your bear NEEDS both of those outfits. So what new way could the company draw in more customers? By partnering with one of the biggest franchises in the world, Pokemon!

Several months ago, BaB revealed the special Pikachu doll. Kids and adults went wild for it, young children who watch the TV show wanted it, parents who grew up playing the games wanted it for their kids, and of course, grandparents have to keep up with whats fun right? The Pikachu dolls were extremely popular, and most stores couldn’t keep them on the shelf. Now with Christmas right around the corner, two new Pokemon have been revealed. Charmander, and what is the perfect Pokemon for this kind of market because of all the options, Eevee! Selling both in stores and in special bundles online, more and more people are stopping by while doing last minute shopping and discovering that perfect gift for the Pokemon fan in their life. Unfortunately, BaB did not expect the massive demand for these dolls, and are currently sold out online of all three Pokemon available. So if you want to get that special gift, your best bet at this point is to get a Build-a-Bear gift card and try again after the holiday rush. It is unknown at this time whether more Pokemon will be revealed, but it’s safe to assume that they will. This kind of business deal is incredible for all companies involved, and the consumers definitely seem happy with it too!
