Are you a writer, game tester, or programmer in the UK? Then Hello Games, the folks behind No Mans Sky may want to hire you! With the recent updates to No Mans Sky active player numbers have been reportedly on the rise, and if Hello Games desire to hire new employees is any indication, then the game might actually be on a rebound from the extremely disappointing release back in August.
According to the official website, the small team is looking for a new Writer, possibly indicating more heavily story driven DLC. Lack of decent story was a major complaint a lot of gamers have had. A QA Tester is also being hired, someone who can dig deep into the game and discover any issues in advance. This is particularly important for massive, open world games like No Mans Sky. The team is also looking for both an “Experienced Programmer” and a “Graduate Programmer”. The addition of four very specific roles seems to fit into the teams promise to work as hard as possible to make No Mans Sky the game it has a potential to be. And while they have a lot of work to do, it will be interesting to see what direction this particular project takes in the future.
