People really wanna catch them all! With just under two weeks since the release date of Pokemon: Sun and Moon Nintendo has announced that the games have sold 1.5 million units in Europe alone, making this the biggest release Nintendo has had in the region. Add to this the overwhelming sales of 3.7 Million units in the U.S regions, and this is a very good year to be a Nintendo investor! The success of Pokemon Sun and Moon has no doubt been affected by the popularity of Pokemon Go! which introduced a lot of people to the series, and reminded long time fans of the thrill of tracking down Pokemon. The 5.2 Million units sold world wide shattered the previous record, held by Pokemon X & Y which sold 4 Million units world wide in their first two weeks.
