A couple of months ago, Bethesda made the announcement that an agreement couldn’t be made with Sony to add mods to their titles on the Ps4 console. This was met with much outcry from the community, with people who have waited patiently to enjoy the same kind of benefits that Xbox One and PC gamers had gotten to enjoy. The community spoke up all across the internet, expressing their feelings and threatening to jump ship, selling their Ps4’s and getting on the Xbox One bandwagon. Once again, we gamers were heard, with Bethesda announcing via their website that mod support was coming to PS4 and PS4 Pro consoles.
“We are excited finally to get modding to our PlayStation fans who have supported us for so long. Modding has been an important part of our games for over 10 years, and we hope to do even more in the coming year for all our players, regardless of platform.”
Mod support will be available on Ps4 first on the remastered version of Skyrim which releases on October 28th. It is unknown when mods will be released for Fallout 4.
