Never Fight Alone…

The Gears of War 4 trailer is finally here, and it looks spectacular. The newest game in the long running franchise is being made by developers The Coalition and if the trailer is anything to base it off of, then they are going to handle the series that Epic Games started fairly well. Set 25 years after the end of Gears 3, Marcus Fenix once again picks up his rifle, but is this the last time?

We get to see everything you could want out of a good Gears of War game, intriguing storyline, awesome looking graphics, and intense music. Not to mention the Lancer assault rifle, the iconic armor, and the return of the long despised Locust hoard. Introducing three new characters into the world, we get to meet Marcus’s son, who looks the be the hero of this new world. For the first time we get so see specialized security mechs, both human sized and larger pilot controlled models. And was I the only one excited to see those motorcycles? Although truthfully I hope those are more limited to cut-scenes personally.

All in all, the trailer looks gorgeous, the graphics and music are great, and the new enemies are terrifying. But it wouldn’t be a Triple A title trailer if they didn’t push the preorder bonuses on you, with Xbox promising to let those who preorder the ultimate edition get to play 4 days early. As exciting as everything is, and with all the cool new stuff we got to see, my only question is this. How is a new Carmine family member going to fit into all this, and who’s gonna kill him this time?

Will you be preordering this game? What are your thoughts on the trailer? Let us know in the comments below, or on Facebook!
